Please support the Orange Grove Center by making an online contribution. All donations will be acknowledged with an immediate email and followed up with a hard copy letter for tax purposes. We obviously have many needs as we go about serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Hamilton County, but we will be certain to honor any specific requests you may have as to how your donation should be put to use.

Orange Grove is a private non-profit organization serving adults and children with developmental disabilities. Orange Grove was established in 1953 by families of children with intellectual disabilities in Hamilton County, Tennessee, who desperately needed educational services. Orange Grove now serves approximately 700 individuals and employs approximately 750 professional staff members to provide a wide array of community services.

Orange Grove Changes Lives
Individuals served by the Orange Grove Center are living fulfilled lives and making a positive difference in their community. OGC Wins 3-Star Award
The Orange Grove Center was recently awarded the 3-Star Award from the Tennessee Division of Mental Retardation Services for outstanding services to people with developmental disabilities. The Orange Grove Center is one of only 20 agencies across the state to have earned this award. For more details, click here.
OGC Recruits New Physician
Dr. Tom Cheetham is coming to Orange Grove as our new Physician! He is undeniably an internationally renowned physician, advocate, researcher, and teacher who has extensive experience in the field of developmental disabilities. He is a hands-on physician who is up-to-date on all of the latest medical advances in our field. He has written numerous publications and taught extensively regarding the provision of best medical practices. His first love is treating patients and is dedicated to providing the highest level of care. He was most recently recognized as the Outstanding Physician of The Year by the Developmental Disability Nurses Association. If there is a group that knows top doctors in this field, it is definitely these nurses!
