Congratulations to Debbie Chadwick Volunteer of the Year

Debbie Chadwick enjoys giving back to her community and helping others. With funding from the Tennessee Division of Mental Retardation Services, The Orange Grove Center assists Debbie in achieving many of her personal objectives. When Debbie is not working and acquiring life sustaining skills at the Orange Grove Center, she is helping others at her volunteer job at the Life Care Center, where she provides joy, encouragement and support to many people who depend upon her superior volunteer services.
The Orange Grove Center assists approximately 250 individuals in participating in various full inclusive activities where they volunteer or work in an array of community sites. 150 individuals are working successfully in community jobs where they assist and partner with individuals without disabilities in fulfilling necessary and worthy tasks.
The Orange Grove Center has always promoted inclusion as its primary objective in assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities acquire necessary life skills. With the continued support of forward thinking business leaders, governmental officials and philanthropic citizens, the Orange Grove Center will continue this vital mission.
Debbie Chadwick Featured in Personally Speaking
Debbie Chadwick has once again made headlines. She is featured in this month's issue of Personally Speaking, a bi-monthly newsletter published by the Division of Mental Retardation Services. Debbie's continued support of individuals at Life Care Center of Missionary Ridge, and recent meet and greet with President George W. Bush are the subject of the article.
