On Sunday, September 16, from 12 noon to 5 p.m., Orange Grove Center was beneficiary for the "Hottest Cars 2008" at Chattanooga Market. The "Hottest Cars" car show is the first of what is planned to be an annual fund-raiser for the Center. The Orange Grove Chorus and Dancers were also on hand, performing on the Comcast Stage.
Local auto dealers (Kelly Automotive Group, Mountain View Nissan and Mountain View Ford Lincoln Mercury) were on hand to showcase their 2008 model cars off the assembly lines. Proceeds from the event were earmarked for the Orange Grove Center Music Department, under the direction of Monte Parks.
