Harold H. Baker has been the Deputy Director at Orange Grove from 1975 to the present.  He has a B.S. degree in Psychology, and an M.S. in Special Education from The University of Florida.   Mr. Baker's previous positions have included:

Teacher, Duval County Public Schools, Jacksonville, FL (1968 -1971)

Director, Kadis Learning Center, Orange Park, FL (1972-1974)

Director, Aldersgate Learning Center, Jacksonville, FL (1975)

Deputy Director, Orange Grove Center (1975-present)

Baker has extensive experiences and affiliations, having served as:

Adjunct professor of Special Education, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (1975-1978)

Chairman of Human Rights committees, Orange Grove Center (1975-present)

President, Hamilton County Mental Health Housing Corp. (2000-2001)

Commissioner/Chairman, City of Chattanooga Human Rights and Relations Commission (1999-2002)

Tennessee State President, American Association on Mental Retardation (1985)

Presenter and consultant on mental retardation issues, with special regard to housing establishment and program development
