Girl Scouts Troop 867 visits Min Tom ladies for a lawn makeover

The women of Min Tom Drive were paid a visit from Awahila Area Junior Girl Scouts, Troop 867.  The four young ladies arrived in uniform, and spent several hours during Spring Break helping with the landscaping.

Under the guidance of Maintenance Coordinator, Fred Vail, they planted trees, sowed grass seeds, laid hay on the lawn, and assisted in other areas of land beautification.

When they completed their tasks, they had a meet-and-greet with the women of the home.  They took photos, and ate snacks with them, which was a special treat for the women.

Thank you to Riley Cain (daughter of Julie Cain, OGC’s ICF/MR Compliance Coordinator), Winter Myrell, Jasmine Bowe, and Amber Farmer for dedicating their time!
