 Bruce Pearl, coach of the Tennessee Vols men’s basketball team, was guest speaker for this year’s "Breakfast for Champions" at Orange Grove Center.
"Breakfast for Champions" took place in the OGC Cafeteria on Friday, April 18. Hundreds of guests were in attendance, including Mayor Ron Littlefield, Councilman Manuel Rico, John Holden, John "Thunder" Thornton, UTC Coaches Rodney Allison and John Shulman, Stump Martin, Representative Bo Watson, Judges Ron Durby and Sharon Paty, Patsy Hazlewood and others.
In its nineteen year history, "Breakfast for Champions" is conducted annually to recognize the supporters and contributors of Orange Grove. This year marked the midway point of the $4,775,000 campaign to raise funds for recycling, autism research, campus renovations and other areas of need.
